On the quiet residential bay of Bahía Petempich in Puerto Morelos, about fifteen minutes’ drive from Cancún airport, Villa Alma stretches from the road down to the sand, with broad gardens between the house and the sea. It is let to one group at a time and takes up to 26 guests in seven bedrooms.
Life here happens mostly outdoors: an infinity pool looking out to the Caribbean, a pool lounge with a bar and pool table, a rooftop jacuzzi, hammocks in the gardens, and an outdoor kitchen with a BBQ, pizza oven and teppanyaki grill next to an outdoor dining room. Pets are welcome, and the villa is set up for weddings, retreats and celebrations as well as family holidays.

Designed around group travel
Indoor Living
Rather than one big open room, the house has large living rooms and separate quiet areas, which helps with a big group. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, oven, stove, grill, microwave and small appliances. There is an indoor fireplace, a pool table, games, TV and stereo, air conditioning, Wi-Fi and a washer and dryer, plus a travel crib, high chair and children's dishes.
Outdoor Living
The infinity pool faces the sea, with a bar and pool table in the lounge beside it. Cooks have a BBQ, a pizza oven and a teppanyaki grill by the outdoor dining room. The gardens hold hammocks facing the water, loungers and a fire pit, the rooftop has a jacuzzi, and the beach in front has white sand and calm water inside the reef.
Bedrooms
Seven bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom and a closet, for up to 26 guests. Note how the capacity works: 20 sleep in beds (kings and doubles) and the remaining 6 on double sofa beds in five of the rooms.
Bedroom 1: king. Bedrooms 2 to 5: king plus a double sofa bed. Bedroom 6: two doubles plus a double sofa bed. Bedroom 7, the largest: a king and two doubles.
There are eight full bathrooms, all with showers only, and a half bathroom; there is no bathtub in the villa.
