Inside, the hacienda keeps its colonial character: stone, dark woods, handmade textiles and canopy beds. Indoor living and dining areas sit alongside a fully equipped kitchen, a gym, books, table games and TV. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi throughout.
Outdoor Living
Tropical gardens wrap the house, with a wrap-around verandah, a terrace, shaded sitting areas, a swimming pool and a roof deck with chaise lounges. Toward the water there is a private dock on the lagoon and a private beach area with sun loungers, umbrellas and towels, plus a fire pit for beach barbecues. Kayaks, snorkel equipment and bicycles are provided.
Bedrooms
The owner lists the hacienda at 11 rooms for up to 24 guests, but the room-by-room layout we have covers nine. Each of those nine has its own bathroom with shower and air conditioning. Ask us and we will confirm the other two rooms and their beds in writing before you book. Master Suite 1: king bed, sitting area, ceiling fan, jungle view. Master Suite 2: king bed, sitting area, ceiling fan, jungle view. Master Suite 3: queen bed, sitting area, ceiling fan, jungle view. King Suites 4, 5, 6 and 7: a king bed each, sitting area, ceiling fan, garden view. Guest Room 8: king bed, garden view. Guest Room 9: queen bed, ceiling fan, garden view. The nine listed rooms hold seven kings and two queens, which sleeps 18 two to a bed. A group of 24 depends on the two rooms not yet detailed.
