Villa Raes Tulum at a glance
Villa Raes is the Tulum home of Australian chef and hotelier Vincent Rae, founder of Rae’s on Wategos in Byron Bay, rented out while he is away. It is a walled hacienda-style estate in Kukulkan, an enclave within La Veleta, minutes from the beach, with eight suites spread across four separate buildings set in mature gardens, so a large group can be together and still find quiet.
The estate has two pools, including an infinity pool on the upper level, a pickleball court and a spa room. A private in-house chef, daily housekeeping and 24-hour on-site security are included in every stay. Airport transfers, concierge bookings and a dedicated host and butler can be added on request.
It can be rented two ways: the full estate with eight suites for up to 18 guests, or a five-bedroom residence for up to 10. The owner also hosts weddings and celebrations of up to 100 guests by arrangement.
Availability
Shaded dates are booked; a split date is a changeover day, available for arrival or departure. Minimum stay varies by season — 3 nights in Low, 5 nights in High, 7 nights in Christmas and New Year.
