Casa W Tulum

A newly completed eight-bedroom residence within Enclave, a gated development of eight homes in Tulum, let in its entirety to a single party of up to twenty-six. Every bedroom is en-suite, with an additional half bathroom, and the stay includes the services of a private chef, daily housekeeping of the communal rooms and a concierge available at all hours.

The property is conceived as much for occasions as for holidays. Its roof, some 2,200 sq ft, accommodates a seated dinner for upwards of fifty together with a dance floor and raised platform, and the owner markets it to wedding parties and reunions as readily as to retreat and corporate groups. Community regulations require outdoor noise to cease at 11pm, which should inform the timing of any evening event.

Guests are extended entry to UMI Tulum Beach Club, an oceanfront club with restaurant and bar, without entrance charges. The residence itself lies inland; the coast, downtown Tulum, the archaeological zone and the region’s cenotes are reached by car.

Provisions for groceries and a menu service fee are charged in addition to the chef’s service. Parties exceeding twenty-six may combine the villa with Casa Kefi, a six-bedroom house approximately 150 ft distant, for a combined forty-two guests.
