Casa Priakos Soliman Bay Tulum

Five bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms. That ratio is the practical story at Casa Priakos, and it matters more than it sounds once fourteen people are sharing a house for a week: nobody queues, and the morning swim starts on time.

The house sits on the sand at Soliman Bay, a reef-sheltered cove roughly twenty minutes up the coast from Tulum town. Swimming here is unusually easy. The reef flattens the water, so the bay works for children and slower swimmers in a way the open coast further south does not.

On the terrace, the infinity pool looks straight out over the bay, with open-air dining and shaded seating sharing the same level. Interiors are open-plan under high ceilings, so living, dining and kitchen stay connected and bright. Past the obvious, the villa carries a gym, a home theatre and in-villa spa treatments, which is what turns a rest day or a wet afternoon into something other than waiting.

Housekeeping runs daily. A chef can take over the kitchen on request, and transfers and provisioning are arranged ahead of arrival so the first afternoon is not spent shopping.

It suits two families travelling together, or one larger group that wants everyone under a single roof with room to spread out.
